
The FCC has approved the Samsung SGH A877 Impression, a touchscreen mobile phone featuring Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface.

The display screen is AMOLED, and the phone features an accelerometer to rotate the display automatically based on how the phone is held, like in the iPhone.
The Samsung SGH A877 Impression supports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz), EDGE and WCDMA data connectivity, along with Bluetooth and wireless handsfree headsets.
Other features include “dragon-scale green” color scheme, 3.2 megapixel camera with geotagging, Telenav GPS navigator MP3 Player and a micro SDHC expansion slot.
The price and availability of the Samsung SGH A877 Impression mobile phone is unknown but is rumored to be out by March 29th in the US.
